What type of fitness program is bootcamp?

iluvthis bootcamp by JQ Fitness is a fitness and nutrition program incorporating strength training, cardio work, core training, kickboxing, circuit training, short distance running, calisthenics, nutrition tips, weight loss tips and more!

Individual fitness assessments are taken at the beginning and at the end of each session to help you track your progression and goals.

Upon registration, each participant receives a bootcamp Food & Activity Journal to help keep you accountable. Inside are meal and snack ideas, easy to track daily food intake and recommended exercises for your non-bootcamp days. Research shows that those who track their food intake are 65% more successful in their weight loss goals.

Have to miss a workout because of a scheduling conflict? No problem! With 12 locations across Mississauga, Oakville, Milton & Burlington you can choose to attend from any of the AM or PM sessions offered during the week in case you have to change up your schedule. We also provide FREE home workouts for you to do in case you are away.

What equipment do you need?

The only equipment you need is:

  • a yoga mat
  • a stability ball
  • a set of 8-15lbs. dumbbells
  • a water bottle and workout clothes as you are going to sweat!

All other equipment including medicine balls, resistance bands, etc. are provided for you.
